Elaboration

Originally this was meant to be a place where to elaborate things more than I could on Mastodon. However I am not active there anymore. So this site changed more to something I would use to post thoughts and pictures from Japan.

What subjects can be expected to appear here?

There is no specific concept yet. It is not even clear if there ever will be one. My first article is an instruction about how to wash the cover of an Ikea sofa.

As I love to watch movies, I will probably write about some of them.

Why Lyrokain?

It's quite mundane. Lyrokain is the name of a character I used to play in an pen and paper role play game. I made it up by combining arbitrary syllables until the letters seemed to ressemble something that can be vocalized.

Will you track me and sell my personal data?

Nah. This site is my personal blog and not part of some shady business model.

Obviously, if you leave a note in the comments section, everything you write might be stored forever and the whole internet will be able to read it.

If you want to leave a comment, you need to subscribe. This is not to spy on you, but to keep out spam bots. Unfortunately this doesn't work without storing your email address and a hash of the password you choose in a database.

For your convienience those credentials will also be saved in a cookie in your browser, so you don't have to type in your email address and password everytime you return here.
